"RDracer" Retro futurism / Nikos Manafis design

"The donor bike is a Skyteam ACE, a humble replica of the iconic Honda RC110, a bike that Honda had re-released in the beginning of the millennium as the "Dream 50R".

The design draws inspiration both from streamlined pre-war designs and 80's Hollywood futuristic visions. More specifically, Ridley Scott's 1982 'Blade Runner', featuring Syd Mead's futuristic designs has been a great influence. In the movie, "Replicants" were bioengineered or biorobotic androids. Interestingly, the movie was based on the novel "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?".RDracer is a redesigned Replica Dreaming of becoming something unique."
