e Fatichenti Moto presentano la nuova Honda CB1000R
Scrambler.
Un
progetto che reinterpreta in chiave moderna le linee rétro del
leggendario CR500
degli
anni ’80.
Tutto
nasce a Chiusi, un piccolo paesino immerso nelle colline toscane al
confine con l’Umbria. Un paesaggio tranquillo e rilassante, dove le
strade sterrate di campagna si incrociano ai trafficati stradoni
asfaltati che collegano le città. L’ambiente perfetto per una
scrambler!
Tema
caldo del progetto è lo scarico, disegnato e pensato da
equadro.design come prima cosa in assoluto, realizzato completamente
a mano in esclusiva da Arrow Special Parts. Alto e Laterale come da
tradizione per le moto scrambler, con una linea completamente nuova,
insolita e trasgressiva in modo da non passare inosservato non solo
per il design ma sopratutto per il suo magnifico sound.
Sono
poi state progettate le carene, prendendo le misure sulla moto per
riportarle su carta in disegni e bozzetti. Con l’aiuto di matita,
compasso e calibro sono stati quindi definiti i disegni da trasferire
a PC. Sono stati infatti realizzati i modelli 3D di: portanumero
anteriore, portanumeri laterali, parafango anteriore, cupolino,
parasteli e codone. Parti che sono state poi realizzate in stampa 3D
con ABS grazie alla disponibilità di SICE snc.
Ulteriore
passo è stato quello di allungare e alzare la sella in modo da
rendere la seduta più confortevole e più in linea con il concetto
della moto, senza però rinunciare alla compatibilità degli attacchi
della seduta originale. Tutto questo realizzato completamente a mano,
grazie alla collaborazione con la tappezzeria Boccaletto, una tipica
bottega toscana di pellami di alta qualità.
In
seguito sono state rimosse le parti in eccesso come il parafango
posteriore e il paracatena, per rendere la moto più aggressiva e
accattivante e sono state montate alcune componentistiche Honda di
altre moto attualmente in produzione quali il manubrio dell’africa
twin, per rendere l’impostazione di guida maggiormente manovrabile
anche su percorsi non asfaltati e le pedane del CR, per garantire un
maggiore grip all’appoggio dei piedi.
Infine
sono stati montati dei pneumatici Pirelli MT60 RS, tipici delle moto
di questa categoria, perfetti per i percorsi misti come quelli tipici
delle colline toscane dove è nata questa CB1000R Scrambler.
La
verniciatura è stata effettuata dalla carrozzeria Mercanti sulla
base di grafiche ispirate ai CR500 degli anni ’80 che sottolineano
la personalità e la solidità hnda, disegnate completamente da
equadro.design. Mentre gli adesivi sono stati realizzati presso il
fantastico studio The Lab.
L’intero
assemblaggio della moto è stato effettuato tramite la concessionaria
Fatichenti dal proprietario Massimo e dai designer di equadro.design
Enrico Angella e Edoardo Terrosi assieme all’aiuto dei dipendenti
dell’officina.
Il
video di presentazione è stato girato a Chiusi e nelle zone
limitrofe del Lago di Chiusi grazie a Virginia Piras che ha eseguito
regia, riprese e montaggio, mentre il servizio fotografico è stato
effettuato da Edizioni Luì.
Il
tutto si racchiude in un kit facile da montare, idoneo alla
circolazione, in grado di non stravolgere la moto ma di valorizzare
la sua versatilità.
La
CB1000R Scrambler è la dimostrazione che dalle piccole realtà nasce
sempre qualcosa di grande

EquadroDesign,
in collaboration with Fatichenti Moto, presents the new CB1OOOR
Scrambler, an innovative project where the retro lines of the
legendary CR500 of the ’80s are reinterpreted in a modern key.
The
project starts in Chiusi, an hamlet nestled in the Tuscan hills on
the border with Umbria, in the middle of Valdichiana. A quiet and
relaxing landscape, where country and asphaltated traffic roads merge
to quickly and easily combine the tranquility of the countryside with
the chaos of the city. A perfect landscape for inspiration, a perfect
environment for a scrambler bike.
This
very wonderful landscape suggested the modifications to perform,
leading the dealer and the designers to easily define the key points
of the project: comfortable, raised, non extreme but suitable for all
terrain and everyday use, simple line, impact,
new
but faithful to the history of the Japanese house and rigorously made
in Italy with manually operated details.
A
design without equal, the simplicity of assembly and the availability
of parts make this bike unique.
Crucial
point of the project is the exhaust, designed by equadro.design as
the first ever, exclusively and entirely handmade by Arrow Special
Parts. Being high and lateral, the system is in line with the
scrambler tradition, but has completely new, unusual and
transgressive line. The exhaust pipe has been created not only to
shock you with its awesome aesthetic, but also with an absolutely
magnificent, amazing and thrilling sound! All that country silence
needed to be broken, all that tranquility could not be left in peace,
we wanted something to make some noise!
Motorcycle
fairing was designed taking measurements directly on the bike,
bringing them directly back to paper. We defined all the drawings
with pencil, compass and caliper. Subsequently, we transferred
sketches to a PC and realized 3D models. Wedesigned number holders,
side panels, front fender, front fairing, fork covers and tail
fairing.
All
this parts were then 3D printedin ABS by SICE snc., a company that
makes railway signs. Crazy, right? Yep, motorcycle passion can also
leads to some insane collaborations. In fact, the owner of SICE
snc.is a motorcycle enthusiast and decided to make available his
company and his expertise simply because he found the project
interesting. It is so true that passion and cohesion of small
realities can do crazy things!
Another
step was to lengthen and raise the saddle in order to make the seat
more comfortable and in line with the concept of the bike, but
without losing the compatibility of the attacks of the original seat.
All this was entirely handmade, thanks to the collaboration with the
Boccaletto’s upholstery, a typical Tuscan workshop of high quality
leather.
Afterwards,
we removed all the unnecessary parts, such as the rear fender and
chain guard, to make the bike more aggressive and attractive.
Moreover, we added some Honda components. We examined Honda bikes
currently in production and we chose some elements such as the
handlebar form Africa twin, to make the bike more maneuverable even
on unpaved paths and footrests form CR, to ensure a greater grip on
foot support.
Finally,
we installed Pirelli MT60 RS tires, typical of scramblers bikes,
perfect for mixed routes like those typical of the Tuscan hills where
this CB1000R Scrambler was born.
The
painting was carried out by the Mercanti body shop, while the
stickers were printed the fantastic studio The Lab. We designed the
graphicschasing the personality and the solidity of the Honda CR500s
of the '80s
The
entire assembly of the motorcycle was performed at the Fatichenti
dealership by the owner Massimo and by the designers of
equadro.design Enrico Angella and Edoardo Terrosi, together with the
help of the workshop employees.
The
video presentation was filmed in Chiusi and in the surrounding areas
of the Lake of Chiusi thanks to Virginia Piras who directed, filmed
and edited, while the photo shoot was taken by Edizioni Luì, a
married couple. They are always bickering but they are also super
available and super professional.
Everything
is enclosed in an easy to assemble kit, suitable for circulation,
able to preserve the personality of the bike and, at the same time,
to enhance its versatility.
